It was a great run and a beautiful day with approximately 75 cars cruising Texas two lane blacktop. We're catching our breath for now, but look for event details in the new year.
2016 Details and Recap
You can register the day of the event for $20. This includes a lunch, but no T-Shirt.
All proceeds over operating costs will go to Haven Watts. Haven is the 14 year old daughter of a DFW hot rodding family, and they have been Hot Rod Hundred supporters from day one. We want to raise money for her organ transplant coming up later this year. If you would like to know more about Haven, Click here.
We had a great time in 2015, so the 2016 run will be a very similar route, Beginning and ending in Granbury Texas, with stops in Hico, Dublin, and Glen Rose, Texas. It's a beautiful route, you don't want to miss it. We will meet at Mark Brit's place at 8am on October 29, 2016. The address is: Champion Storage, 215 Corporate Dr. Granbury, TX 76049
The event is mainly geared at Pre-72, but don't fret if you have a cool ride, holler at us. We aren't the hot rod police, we can be flexible. Now, if it's your mom's 83 AMC Concorde, don't call. Our philosophy is that Hot Rods and Customs are meant to be driven, so that's what we do. We like to cruise the back roads, the 2 lane highways and byways of TX. We figure that if you are willing to give up your free time to hang out with us, we should give you something back in return. So, for $25 you will receive entry into the event, a HRH window sticker (Badge of Honor), an event shirt and lunch for 2. No one gives out those kind of perks with their event. Only at a CrossMembers sponsored Hot Rod Hundred event will you get treated like royalty.
